I become an acupuncturist because, as a patient, I had the first hand experience in the wonderment of acupuncture and herbal medicine, both key pillars of the Traditional Chinese Medicine.
However, my clinical approach is much more like my former self as an engineer and a scientist rather than a traditional acupuncturist. I prefer to utilize the knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical research more than the traditional theory of yin-yang balance, etc. Therefore, I focus my clinical practice on sports acupuncture and stress management/general health maintenance; two areas where acupuncture offers proven clinical efficacy and advantage over other alternatives. And these are the areas where acupuncture can bring most discernible improvements to a patient’s condition.
I closed my clinic in the US during the pandemic and I relocated to Asia for a while before I came to Argentina. I decided to stay in Argentina because I have always found myself to be very comfortable with the warm people and the culture, and of course, the beef, the wines, and the ice cream!
It was never the plan to resume my acupuncture practice in Argentina, however, during my recent visit back to the States, I realized that, unabashedly, I can really make a difference to people’s health and well beings with my clinical skills and knowledge. It would be a shame if I don’t at least make that available to the people of my new adopted home. So if you have any question about how I can help you with your health goal, contact me!
